Biography
Dr. Kok is board certified in Hematology/Oncology, Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Virginia Oncology Associates, she served as Hematologist and Medical Oncologist at Huntington Cancer Center, Huntington, West Virginia and Queens Cancer Center (Affiliated with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine), Jamaica, New York.
Dr. Kok earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, St. George’s, Grenada. Her residency in Internal Medicine was completed at Stamford Hospital, Stamford, Connecticut, and her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the Don Monti Department of Hematology and Oncology, North Shore University Hospital/New York Hospital, Manhasset, New York, where she served as Chief Fellow. She also completed a second Fellowship in Geriatrics at the Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation.
