Biography
Andi Foster is a licensed Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Old Dominion University in 1997 and received her Masters degree as a physician assistant form the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2001. She has worked with Virginia Oncology as a PA-C since her graduation in 2001. Andi works along side Dr. Michael Lee with special focus in lung cancer, breast cancer, and GI stromal tumors among other cancers. She also has an interest in performing bone marrow biopsy procedures and runs our in house bone marrow clinic.

Andi is a sub-investigator for several different clinical trials run through Virginia Oncology, including the Persist Trial. She has done several educational talks on the treatment of GI stromal tumors. She is a member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, the Virginia Association of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

When Andi is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active doing anything outdoors.
